McCowan Library will be implementing a fine amnesty on all materials
through those checked out on September 1st! Any outstanding materials,
either from the pandemic or before, can be returned without fines. So
look around the house and under the car seats for any books or DVDs that
you may have. Starting with materials that are checked out on
September 1st, we will be resuming our normal fine schedule.

Partial Re-opening Computer Use Policies and Procedures
When the McCowan Library opens at 25% capacity on Monday,
July 6th, we will have in place new and interim computer use policies
that we want all of our patrons to be aware of.
The purpose of these policies and procedures is to insure a safe
environment of patrons and staff. While
we understand that the need for public computers is greater than ever, we need
our patron’s compliance with these rules in order to remain open and serving
the public. Of vital importance to
keeping our library below 25% capacity.
This means we must encourage patrons to conduct their business and leave
the building when they are done.
